Following the information campaign and awareness launched on the day of Eid, the FAMI launched today a large consultation / dialogue about the Grand Mosque of Grenoble.
You've probably heard about this project of the Great Mosque in Grenoble, or the Mosque of the Grenoble area, or alternatively, the Mosque Intercommunale. Specifically it is about creating a lifestyle, multiservice Surrounding Alpexpo with building a Grand Mosque in a Muslim Architecture (3000 people) for Muslims and Muslims in Grenoble. The FAMI launched a broad consultation multi media in the city, or even the Isère, open to all, Muslim (s) or not, about this great project. This survey is a first contribution to the debate on the great mosque of Grenoble.
This consultation / dialogue, the debate will grow gradually in the coming weeks, insha'Allah. This debate will fall into place and will grow along several types of media. All possibilities of the web will be exploited (in addition to the site of FAMI, the different site on the chipboard, mailing, Facebook, Twitter ...). But again, different paper stocks, but nothing will replace direct discussions! Public meetings will gradually organized and several working meetings with the players association in the city.
Also, I invite my brothers and sisters leaders, imams and associations from this event and take ownership of this debate so that we can together offer our community and the entire city a masterpiece on every level, useful to the community but also to the entire population of the city.
We will not save energy to consult and discuss this matter with all the personalities on our upcoming town and our many partners in this project ( City of Grenoble and the other 6 main partner in this joint project and various other institutions ...) as well as our friends (religious leaders, specialists ...).
To expect tangible results in terms of ideas and proposals, c ette approach will take time (several weeks). What we expect from the most of this debate is a total membership of the entire Muslim community in this project. We hope, also, through this consultation / debate to explain and reassure the general public about this project.
Mosque of Grenoble will be a unifying project doubling or it will be! Backbone within the Muslim community first. Indeed, this project is supported by all mosques and places of worship existing. Backbone, also within the entire population engage in Grenoble, in partnership with the city of Grenoble and all our partners, an educational effort to inform and explain about the project and its contribution to the city and agglomeration.
I renew my appeal to all my brothers and sisters actors to reappropriate this debate to reach all members of our community to gain his trust, membership and contribution to the building of the project proponent in terms of who will occupy the place of our community and our religion in our country and term improvement of living together among all groups in our society.
I invite you to start by answering this survey 1st as an opening of this debate - consultation. Other surveys will be published. All your comments and advice will be studied carefully and possibly incorporate into our next communication.
